Future Innovation Hub

An Innovation Hub is being created that will be a dedicated space in Langa that offers classes to all students in the township in STEM subjects, teacher training for all Langa schools in STEM related curriculum, a science center, weekly community activities that encourage young people to solve problems in the community, a maker space to build and make projects, travelling exhibitions and guest mentors in STEM jobs to inspire and encourage young students to pursue studies in STEM subjects.

iThuba is currently involved in a Design Process to create an Innovation Hub in Langa Township. We invite you to explore our thinking to date and engage with us in a dialogue to further this idea. Please challenge our thinking with your ideas, thoughts, comments, concerns and challenges. We are actively looking for people who would like to develop partnerships with the Hub.
